These Portuguese Model 937-A Mauser rifles were manufactured by the Mauser-Werke A.G. Oberndorf A.N. factory. They were made in Germany for the Portuguese military and the overall design is almost identical to the Kar98k with some small differences. The most notable is the improved and more robust front sight. The new design provided more protection for the front sight and is a very noticeable difference from the K98. The 1937 model is rare & extremely desirable and a must have rifle for the serious Mauser 98k collector. These rifles are loaded with German Waffenamt markings and all main parts are matching numbers. The bayonet, cleaning rod and small parts may not match. The stock is worn from battlefield and daily usage with some dents and scratches but overall condition is NRA good. Now is your chance to add this unicorn K98 rifle variant to your military arms collection. Comes with rifle, bayonet & 945 rounds of ammo. No sling is included.
