The IWI – Israel Weapon Industries Tavor 7 is a semi-auto in .308 / 7.62 NATO with a 20" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 20-round capacity.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It comes optic ready, so it is ready to take an optic without extra machining.

The .308 is commonly chosen for hunting, target shooting and general use. Probably the most versatile centerfire cartridge available – ammunition is everywhere, and it handles most North American game.
