The Daniel Defense DD5 V3 *CA Compliant is a semi-auto in .308 / 7.62 NATO with a 16" barrel, a 1:11 twist and 10-round capacity plus one chambered.

A carbine-length barrel keeps the rifle maneuverable, trading some velocity for handling. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It ships without iron sights, so budget for an optic, rings and a base if you do not already have them.
