The Christensen Arms Mpr Chassis is a bolt action in 7MM PRC with a 26" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 5-round capacity plus one chambered.
A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It comes integrated base, so it is ready to take an optic without extra machining.
The 7MM PRC is commonly chosen for open-country hunting at extended range. Flat trajectory and substantial energy, with recoil to match.
