Description
The Yankee Hill Machine Company Hub Direct Thread is a suppressor mount, threaded 3/4X24.
A mount is how the suppressor attaches to the host. Direct-thread mounts screw onto the barrel's own threads; quick-detach mounts lock onto a muzzle device already fitted to the barrel, so the can comes on and off without unscrewing it each time.
This part is threaded 3/4X24, which is found on larger-bore and .338 class barrels. Thread pitch has to match exactly – a near miss either will not start or will cross-thread, and a damaged barrel thread is a gunsmithing job.
Mounts are system-specific. A mount is cut for a particular suppressor's rear threads, so it has to be the one made for your can – the exception is the HUB standard, 1.375×24, which is shared across brands by design.
This is a part, not a regulated item. Mounts, pistons, caps and muzzle devices are not NFA-controlled and ship directly to your address – the suppressor itself is the registered item.
