The Yankee Hill Machine Spanner is a spanner wrench.
This is the tool for tightening and removing the mount hardware on one particular suppressor family. It engages the flats or holes cut into that maker's parts.
General tools do not substitute. An adjustable spanner on a jam nut rounds the flats, and once they are rounded the part usually has to be destroyed to remove it.
