The LWRC Ic-9 is a semi-auto in 9mm with a 16" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 27-round capacity plus one chambered.
A carbine-length barrel keeps the rifle maneuverable, trading some velocity for handling. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles.
The 9mm is commonly chosen for range practice, competition and carry. The most widely available centerfire handgun round, which keeps practice affordable and ammunition easy to find.
