The Browning BRN Bar MK4 Medaln is a semi-auto rifle in .270 Winchester with a 22" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.
