Description
This is a Mec-Gar 8-round .40 S&W magazine.
A magazine of this capacity is typical of compact and single-stack pistols, where a slimmer grip matters more than round count. Magazines are consumable: springs and followers wear before the body does, so buying spares and rotating them is cheaper than chasing feed problems later.
Several states and cities cap magazine capacity, and those limits change. Check your state and local rules before ordering – we ship to your address or your dealer, but we cannot ship a magazine somewhere it is not legal. Magazines ship directly to you with no FFL transfer.
If you are looking for a magazine for your 1911 Full Size pistol, choose the magazine manufacturer that is the most trusted in the industry. Since 1965 Mec-Gar has been a world leader in the production of magazines for the largest firearm manufacturers and militaries in the world. Fits Full Size 1911 Government model pistols in 40 S&W.
