SPYDERCO GOONEY 3.46″ GRAY

Description

The Spyderco Gooney folding knife features a gray finish.

A blade in this range handles heavier everyday tasks and light outdoor work while still carrying comfortably clipped in a pocket.

Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 3.46" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm.

The newest member of the byrd flock is the distinctly different Gooney. Its defining feature is its unorthodox blade shape, which combines the functional elements of the sheepfoot, hawkbill, and our Reverse S patterns to yield a remarkably versatile cutting edge. Designed by Spyderco co-founder Sal Glesser, its blade is full-flat ground from 9Cr14MoV stainless steel for exceptional edge geometry and low-friction cutting performance. To support a full range of carry preferences, the handle includes a four-position pocket clip that can be configured for tip-up or tip-down carry on either side of the body. A generously sized lanyard hole in the butt of the handle completes the package, allowing the easy attachment of fobs, lanyards, and safety lines.
