The Cold Steel FGX Balisong features a 5" Griv-Ex blade, tanto, plain edge, black finish.
This is a larger folder aimed at outdoor and work use, where reach and cutting power matter more than minimising pocket bulk.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 5.0" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm.
Our FGX Balisong is not a toy but its awfully hard to make yourself stop flipping it. Made entirely of Griv-Ex and other strategic non-metal materials, its injection molding. The handles and retaining latch have also been carefully engineered to give the necessary weight for hours and hours of flipping fun while remaining all business when it comes to strength and reliability.
