Savage Arms 32194 Axis 2 XP Combo 22-250 Rem 4+1 22″ Black Sporter Barrel, Black Carbon Steel Receiver Drilled & Tapped, Flat Dark Earth Fixed Synthetic Stock, Weaver 3-9x40mm Scope, Left Hand

Description

The Savage Arms Axis 2 is a bolt-action rifle in 22-250 with a 22" barrel and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

This is a left-hand action: the bolt handle and ejection port are on the left side, laid out for a left-handed shooter. A right-handed shooter would be reaching over the receiver to work the bolt. This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry.

The 22-250 is commonly chosen for varmints and predators at long range. High velocity and a flat trajectory, at the cost of barrel life.

This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.
