Description
The Taylors and Company & 1892 Rifle is a lever action rifle in .45 ACP with a 24" barrel, a 1:16 twist and 12-round capacity plus one chambered.
A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles. It comes with buckhorn rear | blade front sights.
The .45 ACP is commonly chosen for range use, competition and carry. A large, slow bullet with mild muzzle blast; magazines hold fewer rounds than a comparable 9mm.
