Savage Arms 57753 110 Timberline 243 Win 4+1 22″, OD Green Cerakote, Realtree Excape Fixed AccuStock with AccuFit, Left Hand

Description

The Savage Arms 110 Timberline is a bolt action rifle in .243 Winchester with a 22" barrel, a 1:9.25 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

This is a left-hand action: the bolt handle and ejection port are on the left side, laid out for a left-handed shooter. A right-handed shooter would be reaching over the receiver to work the bolt. This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The .243 Winchester is commonly chosen for deer and varmints. A common choice for younger or recoil-sensitive shooters that still handles deer-sized game.
