Savage Arms 33151 Axis 2 6.5 Creedmoor 4+1 20″ Matte Black Carbon Steel Threaded Barrel, Drilled & Tapped Receiver, Gray Fixed w/Pistol Grip Synthetic Stock, Left Hand

Description

The Savage Arms Axis 2 6.5 is a bolt action rifle in 6.5mm Creedmoor with a 20" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry.

The 6.5mm Creedmoor is commonly chosen for long-range target shooting and deer-sized game. It became the default precision cartridge because it delivers high-BC bullets with modest recoil and good barrel life.

This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.
