TIKKA T3XLT ROUGHTECH TAN 300WSM

Description

The Tikka Roughtech is a bolt action rifle in .300 Winchester Short Magnum (WSM) with a 24.3" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It ships without iron sights, so plan on an optic and a way to mount it: a red dot or holographic sits on a rail, a scope needs rings and a base, and a rifle with neither needs a mount first.

The .300 Winchester Short Magnum (WSM) is commonly chosen for elk, large game and long-range work. Significant energy at distance, and significant recoil with it.
