Stevens 19467 334 Bolt Action 308 Win 3+1 20″ Camo/Dark Gray Carbon Steel Receiver Integrated Recoil Lug Ergonomic/Recoil Pad Synthetic Stock Picatinny Rail Right Hand

Description

The Stevens 334 Bolt Action is a bolt action rifle in .308 / 7.62 NATO with a 20" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It ships without iron sights, so plan on an optic and a way to mount it: a red dot or holographic sits on a rail, a scope needs rings and a base, and a rifle with neither needs a mount first.

The .308 is commonly chosen for hunting, target shooting and general use. Probably the most versatile centerfire cartridge available – ammunition is everywhere, and it handles most North American game.

Where value and performance meet, is where the Model 334 bolt action rifle excels. The barrel is free-floating and button rifled for consistent accuracy.
