Description

The Savage Axis 2 is a bolt action rifle in .243 Winchester with a 20" barrel, a 1:9.25 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy.
