Description

The Savage Arms Axis 2 is a bolt action rifle in 7mm-08 REMINGTON with a 20" barrel, a 1:9.5 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy.

The 7mm-08 REMINGTON is commonly chosen for deer-sized game. Mild recoil for its capability, which is why it is often recommended to new hunters.
