Description
The Savage Arms 110 Precision is a bolt action rifle in .308 / 7.62 NATO with a 20" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 10-round capacity plus one chambered.
This is a left-hand action: the bolt handle and ejection port are on the left side, laid out for a left-handed shooter. This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It ships without iron sights, so plan on an optic and a way to mount it: a red dot or holographic sits on a rail, a scope needs rings and a base, and a rifle with neither needs a mount first.
The .308 is commonly chosen for hunting, target shooting and general use. Probably the most versatile centerfire cartridge available – ammunition is everywhere, and it handles most North American game.
The 110 Precision takes Savages legendary 110 action and makes it even more dynamic. With a custom stock designed by the accuracy experts at Modular Driven Technologies (MDT), the 110 Precision is fully customizable. From the adjustable comb height and length of pull, to the capabilities of its AccuTrigger , this aluminum framed rifle is setup for exacting performance.
