Browning 036120282 X-Bolt 2 Special Max LR Full Size 6.5 Creedmoor 4+1 22″ Matte Stainless Heavy Sporter Threaded Barrel, Matte Stainless Stainless Steel Drilled & Tapped Receiver, Black Adjustable Ma

Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Special Max is a bolt action rifle in 6.5mm Creedmoor with a 22" barrel, a 1:7 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor.

The 6.5mm Creedmoor is commonly chosen for long-range target shooting and deer-sized game. It became the default precision cartridge because it delivers high-BC bullets with modest recoil and good barrel life.

Browning X-Bolt rifle optimized for precision hunting, long-range target shooting and competition. Featuring a heavy sporter, threaded barrel; adjustable DLX Target trigger; extended bolt handle, and adjustable Max composite stock. Includes three swivel studs and thread protector.
