Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Special Max is a bolt action rifle in 7MM PRC with a 22" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.
