Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Special Max is a bolt action rifle in .300 Winchester Magnum with a 22" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor.
