Browning 036130218 X-Bolt 2 Hunter LR 308 Win 6+1 22″ Matte Blued Threaded Barrel & Steel Drilled & Tapped Receiver, Matte Black Adj Vari-Tech Synthetic Stock, Right Hand

Description

The Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter LR is a bolt action rifle in .308 / 7.62 NATO with a 22" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 6-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The .308 is commonly chosen for hunting, target shooting and general use. Probably the most versatile centerfire cartridge available – ammunition is everywhere, and it handles most North American game.

Experience Total Accuracy with the X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite LR bolt-action rifle. Features a Vari-Tech stock with adjustable length of pull, adjustable comb, interchangeable grip modules and Overmolded grip surfaces; heavy sporter-weight barrel with belled muzzle; Radial muzzle brake and a non-reflective matte blued finish. X-Lock Scope Mounting System uses four screws per base for rock-solid attachment to the receiver.
