CVA CR4051 Cascade Varmint Hunter 223 Rem 10+1 20″ Flat Dark Earth Cerakote Threaded Barrel & Receiver w/Picatinny Rail, Krytek Highlander Adj Comb & LOP Synthetic Stock

Description

The Connecticut Valley Arms / CVA Cascade is a bolt action rifle in .223 REM/5.56 NATO with a 20" barrel, a 1:9 twist and 10-round capacity.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is slower than the usual twist for this cartridge, so it favors lighter bullets; very heavy projectiles may not stabilize.

The .223 REM is commonly chosen for varmints, predators and target work. Cheap, widely available and light on recoil, which makes it an easy cartridge to shoot well.

The Cascade VH (Varmint Hunter) is designed for the predator and varmint hunter who needs repeatable precision and rapid follow-ups. spacer and flatter forend. Its purpose-built for high-volume shooting and consistent accuracy. The 20 MOA Picatinny rail lets you mount the kind of optics these hunts demand and the Cerakote Barreled Action will protect your rifle from the elements.
