CVA CR3953F Cascade Long Range Hunter Full Size 308 Win 22″ Smoked Bronze Cerakote Steel Threaded Barrel, Black w/Smoked Bronze Web Synthetic Stock

Description

The Connecticut Valley Arms / CVA Cascade is a bolt action rifle in .308 / 7.62 NATO with a 22" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 4-round capacity.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The .308 is commonly chosen for hunting, target shooting and general use. Probably the most versatile centerfire cartridge available – ammunition is everywhere, and it handles most North American game.

The Cascade Long Range is designed for hunters seeking precision at extended distances without compromising affordability. Borrowing features from long-range target competition rifles, the Cascade LRH gives hunters the added confidence to make kill shots on big game at 300 yards and beyond. The key is a medium-heavy barrel contour and a stock designed for stability and fit, with a flat and wide forend and adjustable length-of-pull and comb height.
