Winchester Repeating Arms 535700299 XPR 6.8 Western 3+1 24″ Blued Perma-Cote Steel Sporter Barrel & Receiver, Matte Black Fixed w/Checkering Stock, Right Hand

Description

The Winchester Repeating Arms XPR 6.8 is a bolt action rifle in 6.8 Western with a 24" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 3-round capacity.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is slower than the usual twist for this cartridge, so it favors lighter bullets; very heavy projectiles may not stabilize. It comes drilled & tapped, so it is ready to take an optic without extra machining.

A bolt action locks the cartridge up rigidly and repeatably, which is what makes it the accurate choice for hunting and target work – there is no gas system or reciprocating carrier moving while the shot breaks.

The Winchester XPR is a feature-packed XPR bolt-action rifle that embodies the lasting quality you've come to expect from Winchester Repeating Arms. Winchester's M.O.A. Trigger System is the heart of every XPR rifle. The trigger housing and all internal components in the M.O.A trigger are constructed of polished and hardened carbon steel with a blued finish for added durability and corrosion resistance.
