Winchester Repeating Arms 535782208 XPR Hunter Full Size 270 Win 5+1 22″ Flat Dark Earth Perma-Cote Sporter Barrel, Drilled & Tapped Steel Receiver, TrueTimber Strata Fixed Synthetic Stock

Description

The Winchester Repeating Arms XPR Hunter is a bolt action rifle in .270 Winchester with a 22" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 5-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The .270 Winchester is commonly chosen for deer, antelope and open-country hunting. A long-standing flat-shooting hunting cartridge.

The Winchester XPR bolt-action rifle embodies the lasting quality you've come to expect from Winchester Repeating Arms. Features Winchester's M.O.A. Trigger System; two-position safety; bolt release button; one-piece trigger guard and magazine frame design offers a generous guard opening for use with gloves; chromoly steel, free-floating barrel; drilled & tapped chromoly steel receiver; synthetic stock with an Inflex Technology recoil pad and a detachable single stack box magazine.
