Howa HMA60804B M1500 Mini Action Compact 6mm ARC 5+1 20″ Black Steel Barrel, Black Drilled & Tapped Steel Receiver, Black Fixed HTI Synthetic Stock, Right Hand

Description

The Howa M1500 is a bolt action rifle in 6mm ARC with a 20" barrel, a 1:7.5 twist and 5-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The 6mm ARC is commonly chosen for target shooting and medium game. Designed for efficiency and long-range performance from a short action.

The Howa MiniAction Rifle is the perfect platform for an accurate and affordable bolt-action gun. With precision in mind, every Howa bolt action rifle is equipped with exacting tolerances and constructed with superior materials. From the cold-hammer-forged barrel, to the firing pin and bolt, Howa builds rifles dedicated to accuracy.
