Christensen Arms 801-15057-01 Evoke Hunter 25 Creedmoor 4+1 20″ Black Cerakote Threaded Barrel, Receiver & Forend w/Picatinny Rail, Brush Camo Fixed Synthetic Stock

Description

The Christensen Arms Evoke is a bolt action rifle in 25 Creedmoor with a 20" barrel, a 1:7.5 twist and 4-round capacity.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles.

A bolt action locks the cartridge up rigidly and repeatably, which is what makes it the accurate choice for hunting and target work – there is no gas system or reciprocating carrier moving while the shot breaks.
