Proof Research 151686 Elevation MTR 2.0 300 PRC 3+1 20″ Carbon Fiber Match Grade Threaded Barrel, Black Receiver w/Picatinny Rail, Tactical Flat Dark Earth Proof Fixed Carbon Fiber Stock, Right Hand

Description

The Proof Research Elevation MTR 2.0 300 is a bolt action rifle in .300 PRC with a 20″ barrel, a 1:9 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge’s velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles.

The .300 PRC is commonly chosen for elk, large game and long-range work. Significant energy at distance, and significant recoil with it.
