The Bushnell AR Optics Ill is a 1-8x riflescope with a 24mm objective.
A range starting at 1x can be shot with both eyes open at close range, like a red dot, and zoomed to 8x when a target needs identifying or reaching. That versatility is why this class is common on general-purpose rifles.
The 24mm objective sets how much light the scope can gather and how tall the rings need to be to clear the bell.
Eye relief is listed at 3.60" – the distance the eye sits behind the ocular to see the full picture, which is what has to be respected when positioning the scope in the rings.
