BROWNING X-BOLT HELLS CANYON – LR MCMILAN 6.5CM 26″ BRNZ/OVX

Description

The Browning X-Bolt Hells Canyon is a bolt action rifle in 6.5mm Creedmoor with a 26" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 4-round capacity.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It ships without iron sights, so plan on an optic and a way to mount it: a red dot or holographic sits on a rail, a scope needs rings and a base, and a rifle with neither needs a mount first.

The 6.5mm Creedmoor is commonly chosen for long-range target shooting and deer-sized game. It became the default precision cartridge because it delivers high-BC bullets with modest recoil and good barrel life.
