BRN 036066229 XB2 SPEED FDE,SR MB 300

Description

The Browning BRN XB2 Speed is a bolt action rifle in .300 Winchester Magnum with a 26" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor. It ships without iron sights, so plan on an optic and a way to mount it: a red dot or holographic sits on a rail, a scope needs rings and a base, and a rifle with neither needs a mount first.

The .300 Winchester Magnum is commonly chosen for elk, large game and long-range work. Significant energy at distance, and significant recoil with it.
