Description
The Bushnell R7 SFP Fiber MOA is a 2-10x riflescope with a 42mm objective. The reticle is in the second focal plane.
A top end in this range is enough to place a shot at distance while the bottom end stays usable up close. It is the common compromise for a rifle expected to do more than one job.
Second focal plane: the reticle stays the same visual size at every magnification, which keeps it easy to see at low power. Its subtensions are only correct at one magnification, usually the maximum, so holds taken at another power have to be adjusted.
The 42mm objective sets how much light the scope can gather and how tall the rings need to be to clear the bell.
