The Connecticut Valley Arms / CVA Cascade is a bolt action in .204 Ruger with a 20" barrel, a 1:9 twist and 10-round capacity.
This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor.
The .204 Ruger is commonly chosen for varmints at distance. Very flat shooting with almost no recoil.
