Description
The Winchester M70 Super Grade Bl is a bolt action in .270 WSM with a 24" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 3-round capacity.
A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It ships without iron sights, so budget for an optic, rings and a base if you do not already have them.
The .270 WSM is commonly chosen for deer, antelope and open-country hunting. A long-standing flat-shooting hunting cartridge.
This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.
