The Winchester Guns 70 Coyote Light is a bolt action in 6.5mm Creedmoor with a 24" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 5-round capacity plus one chambered.
A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It comes drilled & tapped, so it is ready to take an optic without extra machining.
The 6.5mm Creedmoor is commonly chosen for long-range target shooting and deer-sized game. It became the default precision cartridge because it delivers high-BC bullets with modest recoil and good barrel life.

The Winchester Coyote Light has been carefully trimmed of any unnecessary bulk, but is no lightweight when it comes to performance. The matte-blued receiver and medium-heavy fluted stainless barrel mount into a skeletonized aluminum bedding block that is set in a lightweight carbon fiber/fiberglass composite Bell and Carlson stock for superb accuracy. Flow-through vents on the fore-end reduce weight and help cool the barrel during long strings of fire. A Pachmayr Decelerator pad helps soak up recoil and a Pre-'64 Style Controlled Round Feed with Claw Extractor fully controls the cartridge from magazine, to chamber, to ejection.
