The Winchester Guns Xpr is a bolt action in 6.8 Western with a 24" barrel, a 1:16 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is slower than the usual twist for this cartridge, so it favors lighter bullets; very heavy projectiles may not stabilize. It comes drilled & tapped, so it is ready to take an optic without extra machining.

Bolt actions are commonly chosen for hunting and target shooting, where the simpler mechanism and rigid lockup are valued.
