Description
The Winchester Repeating Arms Xpr Extreme is a bolt action in .350 Legend with a 22" barrel, a 1:16 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.
This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.
The .350 Legend is commonly chosen for deer hunting in straight-wall cartridge states. These exist to satisfy regulations that prohibit bottleneck rifle cartridges for deer.
This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.
The Winchester XPR Extreme rifle is a step forward in design and manufacturing, bringing you a high-performance hunting rifle. Tungsten Cerakote finish on the receiver and barrel protects better than traditional bluing or bare stainless. Featuring threaded, drilled and tapped, fluted, button rifled barrel; steel receiver; composite stock; M.O.A. Trigger System; Inflex recoil pad; installed sling swivels; bolt unlock button; recessed target crown and 2-position thumb safety. Includes threaded muzzle brake.
