The Savage 110 is a bolt action in .204 Ruger with a 22" barrel, a 1:12 twist and 10-round capacity.
This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.
The .204 Ruger is commonly chosen for varmints at distance. Very flat shooting with almost no recoil.
