Description
The Savage B22 is a bolt action in .22 WMR with an 18" barrel, a 1:16 twist and 10-round capacity.
Rimfire velocity peaks in the high teens of barrel length, so a barrel this short gives up very little and keeps the rifle light and quick to handle. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles.
The .22 WMR is commonly chosen for small game and varmints. It bridges the gap between .22 LR and a centerfire varmint round.
This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.
