The Kershaw Livewire Automatic features a 3.30" CPM MagnaCut Steel blade, clip point, plain edge, aluminum handle, black finish.

The blade is CPM MagnaCut Steel, a modern powder steel that balances edge retention, toughness and corrosion resistance.

A blade in this range handles heavier everyday tasks and light outdoor work while still carrying comfortably clipped in a pocket.

Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 3.3" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm. Keep the blade dry and the pivot clean, and touch the edge up on a strop or fine stone before it gets properly dull – it is far less work than bringing back a blunt edge.
