Description
The Kershaw 2053 Kindred folding knife features a 3" D2 Steel blade, spear point, plain edge, aluminum handle, black finish.
Around three inches is the everyday carry sweet spot – long enough for boxes, cord, food prep and general utility, short enough to disappear in a pocket.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 3.0" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm.
The Kershaw Kindred, from its sleek profile to the opening action, activate the thumb stud to lock the blade in place with the button lock. Pressing the steel button releases the blade for buttery drop shut action on KVT ball bearings. The spear point blade is highly efficient for deep cuts, using D2 tool steel and a full flat grind. Control the blade comfortably with a contoured aluminum handle, which also carries light in the pocket with a deep-carry pocket clip.
