Savage Arms 57656 Impulse Hog Hunter Full Size 300 Win Mag 3+1 24″ Matte Black Threaded Barrel, Matte Black Aluminum Receiver w/Picatinny Rail, Matte OD Green AccuStock Synthetic Stock, Ambidextrous

Description

The Savage Arms Impulse Hog Hunter is a bolt action in .300 Winchester Magnum with a 24" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The .300 Winchester Magnum is commonly chosen for elk, large game and long-range work. Significant energy at distance, and significant recoil with it.

This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.

When clearing hogs is a necessity, IMPULSE Hog Hunters straight-pull action delivers. Hogs rarely appear alone, and the speed of the IMPULSE Hog Hunter allows hunters to get back on target fast. The action is purpose built for hog-stomping. IMPULSE Hog Hunter is there for the second shot, and the third, and the fourth Get the upper hand in pest control.
