Fitment is the thing to check. A holster is moulded or cut for a particular pistol, and one that is close but not right will not hold it securely – check it against your exact model, and against whether you carry a light or an optic on it.
Whatever the design, a holster has to cover the trigger guard completely and hold the pistol firmly enough that it stays put when you move. Those two things are what makes carrying safely possible, and they are worth checking on any holster before you trust it.
It is cut to clear a slide-mounted red dot, so a pistol with an optic fitted still seats fully. An optic-cut holster also takes the same pistol without an optic.
This holster is moulded around a weapon light. That means it fits the pistol WITH that specific light attached – a different light, or no light at all, will not retain properly. Check the light model as carefully as the pistol.
