The Inland Manufacturing M1A1 Paratrooper Carbine is a semi-auto in .30 Carbine with an 18" barrel, a 1:20 twist and 15-round capacity.
This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles. It comes with adj rear sights.
