LAPUA 222 REM 55GR FMJ 20/600

Description

Lapua .222 Remington ammunition, 55 grain full metal jacket, 20 rounds per box.

Full metal jacket – the jacket wraps the lead core. It is not designed to expand, which is why this construction is the usual choice for practice and high-volume range work.

Bullet weight is given in grains; there are 7,000 to the pound, so this one weighs 55 grains. Within a calibre a heavier bullet generally leaves the muzzle slower and carries its velocity further, while a lighter one starts faster and sheds speed sooner.

Ammunition is not a firearm and ships directly to you, though some states and cities restrict ammunition shipments or require a licence or permit. Check your local rules before ordering – if you are unsure, ask us first.
