The Wheeler Engineering BNCH Top Scrwdvr Shex is a gunsmithing screwdriver set.
Gunsmithing drivers are HOLLOW-GROUND: the bit's faces are parallel, so it fills the screw slot to the bottom and along its full width. A hardware-store driver is tapered, touches only the top edges of the slot, and cams out – which is how a screw head ends up burred and a receiver ends up scratched.
That matters more on a gun than almost anywhere else, because the screws are visible, often blued or plated, and frequently soft. A marred scope base screw or trigger guard screw is permanent and shows.
Buy on bit COUNT and fit rather than brand: the more widths and thicknesses in the set, the more likely one seats exactly in the slot in front of you.
