Description
The Geissele Stressproof Bolt is the bolt used in Geissele’s Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group. It is forged from Carpenter 158+, developed with Carpenter Steel metallurgists to be cleaner and carry fewer impurities than standard bolt material. Geissele rate it as stronger and more fatigue resistant, at five times the life of a mil-spec bolt.
Every bolt is shot peened, high pressure tested, magnetic particle inspected and Nanoweapon coated.
Nanoweapon, also known as Picatinny DSL, is a durable solid lubricant coating originally developed by ARDEC and available exclusively from Geissele. It is applied at low temperature so the underlying metallurgy of the part is unaffected, and its surface hardness is roughly that of synthetic diamond – harder than sand, which is what lets it shed carbon and run with less lubrication.
